All reverse osmosis (RO) feed waters are different in ionic composition. As a result, different types of scale may deposit on the membranes if the correct antiscalant is not used. Selecting the right antiscalant and cleaning chemicals will optimize operating efficiency and help to prevent plant failure.
Anti-scalant chemicals are substances that are used to prevent the formation of scale, which is a hard, crusty deposit that can form on the surfaces of pipes, boilers, and other equipment when water is heated or otherwise treated. Scale is caused by the accumulation of minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, which can be present in the water. These minerals can form hard, insoluble deposits when the water is heated, which can clog pipes, reduce the efficiency of heat transfer, and cause other problems.
Anti-scalant chemicals work by modifying the properties of the minerals in the water, making them less likely to form scale. There are a variety of different types of anti-scalant chemicals available, each with its own specific mode of action. Some anti-scalants work by chelating the minerals, which means they bind to the minerals and prevent them from reacting with other substances. Others work by modifying the surface charge of the minerals, making them less likely to stick to surfaces. Still others work by disrupting the crystal growth of the minerals, inhibiting their ability to form scale.
Anti-scalant chemicals are used in a variety of applications, including water treatment, industrial processing, and boiler feedwater treatment. They are typically used in conjunction with other water treatment technologies, such as filtration and ion exchange, to help prevent scale formation and maintain the efficiency and reliability of equipment.

Designed to produce low dissolved solids water from tap or well water, these Small Commercial RO systems use high efficiency reverse osmosis membranes. L-series RO systems are designed to work at pressures of 200-250 psi for higher TDS water and use TW reverse osmosis membranes. The TW RO membranes offer higher salt removal and the higher operating pressure overcomes the loss of membrane flow due to higher TDS level.
A mix bed deionizer (DI) is a type of water treatment system that is used to remove ions, such as cations and anions, from water. It is typically used to produce high-purity water for laboratory, pharmaceutical, and other applications where the presence of dissolved ions can be detrimental.
The Water Maker grants boaters the freedom to monitor and regulate system capabilities. Made for the hands-on boater, the Water Maker allows you to customize features and pressure settings with an advanced touch screen display. Its ruggedness and reliability allows boaters to confidently command their water maker in all parts of the world.
Containerized RO Plants – Containerized Sea Water RO Plants:
As a standard feature our SWRO plants are designed with the most up-to-date and efficient energy recovery system “The Pressure Exchanger” PE, using less than 3.0 kWh/m³ or 11.4 kWh/k-gallons, which is a 60% energy reduction in comparison to a conventional SWRO plant using 7.0 to 8.0 kWh/m³ ~ 26 to 30 kWh/k-gallons.
This Unique Sea water RO System has no need of electricity which is specially designed for small boats, fishing Boats, camping and ice lands. It converts direct sea water into sweet drinkable water without Feed water tank and does not require any separate storage tank which makes the system unique. This System has its own storage tank and smart faucet. Cost effective that comes fit on every budget.
Efficiently manage wastewater on marine ships with our Gray Water STP (Sewage Treatment Plant). Ensure environmental compliance and sustainability by treating gray water effectively. Choose a reliable solution for cleaner oceans and a greener marine environment.
Extra low-energy reverse osmosis system (14,000 GPD) are designed to deliver high quality water at low operating costs for municipal and industrial water applications. Its high active area design coupled with the highly productive membrane allows it to operate at half the feed pressure of standard RO elements and up to 30% lower pressure compared to other low energy RO System.

The salt used in the brine tank of a water softener does not directly soften the water, but is used to regenerate the resin beads in your water softener. These actually soften the water from your well by removing the hard water ions, calcium, magnesium and iron.
